OVERVIEW

Chief Executive Officer: Jose Ariel Ramos

Founder of J R Universal Construction, Jose Ariel Ramos brings to the organization over 40 years of senior management experience in the construction and structural industry. With extensive experience in site development, excellent background in facility design, construction, scheduling, and budgeting. Ensure projects Bid are within existing operational and financial capabilities. Mr. Ramos is primary responsible for the accomplishment of the long term goals of the company, and its strategies planning within the industry.

Chief Operating Officer: Sergio E. Chavez

More than ten years in construction supervision, including accurate takeoff, estimating, budgeting and contracting. Specializing in coordination, preparation of job scopes, scheduling and directing site employees. Supervising sub contractors, arranging inspections for work compliance. In addition, responsible for ensuring that all site work done by either company or sub contractors is defect-free by following production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; by resolving operational problems; and by identifying work process improvements.

Secretary/Treasurer: Melida Ramos

Previously with Caesar Palace in Las Vegas, Ms. Ramos has over twenty years of experience with high-volume manufacturers and service companies. Responsibilities include cash management and banking relations. She is fully involved in internal controls and corporate governance. Ms. Ramos accountability extends to financial statements, profit flow/cash flow analysis, and management of lines of credit.

Vice President Construction: James Sweeney

Mr. Sweeney’s many years in structural and architectural fabrication has developed the unique ability to implement the goals of the design team into fully realized projects. He communicates and interprets the objectives of architects and engineers to the field personnel to ensure a project meets all criteria, and above all, is acceptable to the customer. Mr. Sweeney is the Company’s compliance officer on safety procedures and practices.

Principal Field Management

Senior Project Manager: Matthew Richmond

Mr. Richmond has primary responsibility for planning, tracking; managing and helping to define the project they are assigned. He is responsible for assisting in the direction of resources required for meeting the project objectives. He is also responsible for ensuring appropriate management, customer and vendor involvement throughout the life of the project. Mr. Richmond is responsible for managing project schedule and task details such as reports, tracking charts, checklists, and project scheduling. He is able to manage change and take active leadership in timely decision making. Finally he is able to identify issues proactively, resolve conflicts, and champion the project across the organization and with customers.
